Who writes Peakline, and how

Peakline is a new project.

It inherits the topic, the market, the language and the links of the domain it sits on. It does not inherit the identity. It is not the former owner, not a rebrand, not a continuation. If you arrived here looking for a different brand, you are in the right place for the gear and the guides, and the wrong place for anything else. Everything below is written for this project, by this project.

How this site works

Each page on Peakline covers one buying decision. The catalog index for a category lists every item with its key spec. A sizing or fit page sits under it for the one question a buyer cannot answer from the spec alone. The guides section explains the discipline, the terrain and the seasonal cycle so the catalog makes sense in context. The holiday pages tie the kit to a destination and a group size.

Corrections

Specs change when manufacturers revise a model. If a page lists a flex, a length or a price that no longer matches what the manufacturer publishes, the page will be updated in the next build. There is no editorial layer between the spec sheet and the page: what the manufacturer says is what the page says.

What this site is not

Peakline is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a continuation of the former owner of this domain. It does not carry over the former brand name, the former catalog branding, the former customer data, or the former editorial voice. It keeps the topic (ski, snowboard and watersports equipment), the market (English-language buyers planning a season), the language, and the inbound links. Nothing else is inherited.
